Wednesday, December 15th at 7:00 pm, found ten people at the offices of RegisterDotCom listening to a presentation on FitNesse by David Chelimsky of Object Mentor.
FitNesse (http://fitnesse.org/) is an integration and acceptance test framework based on Fit (http://fit.c2.com/). It is implemented as a wiki, allowing easy editing of web pages that not only describe the tests to be run, but runs the tests and displays the results. Fitnesse was developed by Object Mentor and donated to the software development community as an open source project (http://sourceforge.net/projects/fitnesse). David Chelimsky is one of the developers on the .NET FitServer in FitNesse. There has been a lot of activity since I investigated fitnesse in its early days.
Object Mentor (http://objectmentor.com/) is one of the biggest names in the industry, providing consulting, training, mentoring, and development services in object-oriented and agile software development.
